Last night I was downloading something I needed to my new laptop. Now this thing I needed was epub. It's an app that allows you to down load books and read them. I needed it on my new pc so I could check out my book I just published. This should have been a program I could trust but noooooooooooo.
What was the result of my trusting nature? I found the thing that would bring down my nice new laptop. Big time. I was up all night nursing this little monster and it still isn't 100% but I will get it there. So the next time you start to download something on your pc and it comes up let this program make changes to you computer, say no. Of course you won't be able to load the program but believe me you probably didn't need it that bad to begin with. Oh for those of you who are looking to buy a new pc and want one with the touch screen, I didn't but got talked into it, think twice. Oh don't get me wrong the touch screen is great to have. It makes some things a lot easier but the slightest movement across you mouse pad and you'll have the big-little problem I'm having and you''ll end up with a serious back problem from the constant rocking back and forth you'll be doing to read what you're trying to look at. At least it is more exercise. The big-little problem is that it appears that your computer has a life of it's own and the font or pictures get bigger then smaller with almost every unintentional swipe of your fingers. If you're trying to write a book that is a real pain the arse. Of course you can take two fingers and enlarge or decrease the size of the material on your screen with just a touch. I've learned a whole new touch sign language that I may patten.
