When I decided to use a certain person for the image of Mary on my first book I didn't know that she would become my designated good luck charm. I have decided that even if you don't see her on the covers of any possible future books she will be there. I may fix it that you may see her if you find her.
The two pictures shown here are indications of what it takes to get her to go from one thing to another. It can take days even weeks to get the image I want. I thought that someone might be interested in seeing what I started with and a close up view of the finished image.
This book is almost finished and this image has been incorporated on the cover.The title of the new book is Journey into Nightmares.

I Would Love to Do This But...

When I started this little journey in October of 21013 who knew I would start a book finish and publish it and then go on to write another. Now that one too is published. I certainly didn't.
Hell let's be honest here, I didn't think I would finish the first one. Now I have two, count them two. At least you don't have to be a math genius to count them. At least not yet. Hehe.
I hear a lot of people telling me of how proud they are of me and that means a lot to me. What makes me proud is that I've accomplished what I always wanted to do. I created something that will always be here. Long after I'm gone the books I write will go on. Now that is something to be proud of.
Anyway sitting here getting really sleepy and fighting it which is what I tend to do these days. I'm trying to get a story right in my head and it running me around in circles right now. I can't even get comfortable with the title. I know that it will end up changed but right now no idea what it will ultimately be. It's kind of like finding the right name for an expected child and you're having a hard time deciding on calling it Fred or George. I'm leaning toward George but may go with Fred.
I think I will stop here and crawl off to bed before I show how really tired I am and end up saying something stupid. That's hard for me when I'm not sleepy so you can imagine how hard it is when I'm tired. Good night to all the people who are not reading my blog.

I know I've already posted this morning but I've been bad. You should never leave me unattended and me nervous. It will have a bad outcome. One of my friend posted something profound on fb a short time ago and I my mind went someplace and before I knew it I had typed a smart ass remark. The following is what I did. So shoot me. I wouldn't however blame the person for unfriending me. go past the post and read my response.

My response to this was "Do you really think it's a good idea to tell your friend. 'Yes you do look like a cow in that dress.'

Hurry Up and Wait

Here I am sitting here waiting to see if all the kinks have been worked out on my new book. I've waited for the results of biopsies with less apprehension than I am for this. Come on people are you trying to give me a frigging heart attach.
Just checked again and still pending. Of course I only checked five minutes ago.
I swear it's like giving birth to a two hundred pound baby. I couldn't give birth to a 5 lb. 6 oz. baby girl naturally and they want me to deliver a cow. Come on people, knock me out and let me do this the way God intended. I think they should do for this what they used to do when a woman did give birth. Knock her out until the whole thing was over and you woke up and they handed you a baby. There was something so natural about that. You woke up they handed you the kid, you made sure it had all the necessary parts, counted it's fingers and toes and checked to make sure they got the sex right. Hey I wanted to be sure that the thing they handed me really was a girl. Can you imagine the shock I would have suffered if after telling me it was a female pulling aside that little diaper and finding an extra appendage you weren't expecting. I'd still be in counseling and Gian would have grown up with a lot more issues because of me than she has right now.
Actually except for having some horrible memories of a crazy mother she turned out pretty good. Fairly well adjusted, intelligent, and talented. I'm rather proud of her inspite of the fact that she thinks I'm nuts. Hell maybe because she does thinks I'm nuts. I told you she was intelligent.

What the Hell Have I Done Now?

OK, someone jump up and kick me in square in the ass. I was uploading a revised version of my new book on Smashwords and what did I do? Come on, guess. No that wasn't it. Well if you said I uploaded it to the wrong book you got it right. Yes I uploaded the revision for the second book to my first. How's that for plumb damn stupid? Someone needs to lock me up in a padded cell and leave me there because I'm obviously dangerous to myself.

On a lighter note if you've read any of my blogs and most haven't you would have read about Steven King's name not being on my birth certificate. It still isn't but the one who told me my book wasn't a Steven King is finally reading my book with an open mind and I'm totally proud of him. Of course I could forgive him just about anything. He's my older brother and growing up he was my knight in shining armor. Hey, he was a cool big brother. He often slayed the dragon for me and then turned around and taught me that not all dragons are bad and I fell in love with them. Don't believe me, you should see my collection. One even bites.

Actually I have three brothers I'm more than a little proud of. Yes, at times they have tried my patience, and others they have down right pissed me off but for the most part they have been a great bunch of guys. There was another but we lost him a few years ago and we still miss him. He probably was the biggest pain in the butt but he was the oldest and sometimes he pushed that a little too hard but he was funny. I never quite understood women's attraction for him after he got a little older. He was on the short side as well as a little heavy and after about forty pretty much bald. The thing was he had a set of the prettiest blue eyes with lashes that went on forever and a smile that would melt the heart of anyone. I miss him so much and tomorrow is his birthday. Happy birthday Tony and I still love you and wish everyday you were still here.

OK enough of the sappy crap. So if anyone wants to come kick my bottom you have my permission and I deserve it.
