This was exactly what my husband ended up thinking over the weekend. Yes Friday May 1 was our anniversary so the sweet kind man that he is took me back up to the farm where we got married. The problem with that is it is also where I started writing. The Blood Line series takes place all in that area. So what do I do. I start taking pictures of the places mentioned in the books and posting them on facebook.
Now to tell you how bad it was I had a male friend tell me to get the hell off facebook and go spend time with my husband. Now it's bad enough when another woman calls me on stuff like this but evidently I was so bad that a guy called me down. My poor man. The thing is he was an absolute trooper through the whole thing, well I'm not to sure about some of that. The following is the conversation we had at one point.
This happened Saturday in between stops and I posted this
Driving along after our last stop I told Buddy I was getting hungry. Here's the conversation.
Me: I'm hungry.
Buddy: To bad
Me after sprawling across the seat: Fine I'll lie here and starve.
Slight pause from Buddy: Just do it quietly.
OK he had a right to be an ass and he does it so cute and I can't get mad at him. I can however dye his beard bright pink while he is sleeping and put little Hello Kitty ornaments in it and him find it the next morning just before he has to get ready for work. I hope the pink dye all washes out. If not my next post might be from a divorce court or from beyond the grave.
Actually we had a great weekend seeing old friends and visiting places that are near and dear to us. I love it at the farm and would stay there if I could.
Anyway getting late so I must try to force myself to lie down and get some rest. About the time I do though I'll remember something and jump up to get it done. Again my poor husband. I think he would love to get a good night's sleep if I would only let him.
