If you're reading this then you know my name.
I'm married to a wonderful man who has the patience of a saint and believe me, he has to. I have one daughter Gina who will soon be graduating from college with a degree in psychology, I wonder if I have something to do with that, and two stepdaughters Ginny and Susie.
I have traveled over a good portion of the US and have fallen in love with each and every part for one reason or the other. There are some wonderful people and places to discover if you ever get the chance.
I design and make jewelry and love that almost as I much as I love writing. It's an amazing way to express who are are and your own sense of style. I have expressed a lot of it.
My father died when I was very young and my four brothers and I were raised by a single mother and I guarantee you that was no simple task. My mom passed away several years ago as did my oldest brother and they are both terribly missed. I still have three remaining brothers and although I wouldn't take another I wouldn't trade any of them for anything.
When I first wrote this little bio I had no idea where I would be a few years later, no I'm not rich or anywhere near it, but I have grown in so many ways. I've learned more about publishing, editing, promoting, and trying to stay on top of things that it has been mind boggling. I can only hope that I continue to learn and that I have many more books inside this rather demented head of mine.
I have six books of my own and have a story in one anthology called Loving You to Death. I belong to a fabulous group called The Creative Evil Female Mind and Other Evil Geniuses that along with with eight other members wrote and published Something in the Shadows An Anthology of Horror Stories that we are supper proud of. It wasn't just the writers who participated but many of our members came together to make this book happen. The ideas, photos, volunteers to be our models, words of encouragement, and just an abundance of support. Are we all a little crazy? Did you read the name of the group? Of course we are, but damn we do have fun.
Why I Started Writing
My husband's family owns a farm in Southeast Missouri and it was there that I got the idea to write my first book and Blood Lines 'The Curse' was born.
When I started I had no idea that I would even finish the book but I did and have since written five more. The first was inspired by something I discovered on the farm and it took hold and sent me off into an idea of a story and from there into the book. I won't tell what it was that so inspired me but if you read the first book you might get a hint. Something similar is featured heavily in that first book.

I have no idea how the next chapter of my life will unfold but I've learned to just fasten my seat-belt and hold on. I have a full life filled with wonderful people who I love dearly. Whatever happens pray for them. They are going to need it.
